Abiding by the EPR is mandatory for all bulk producers, consumers, and manufacturers of electronic and electrical equipment. This has been made official as per the new E-Waste (Management) Rules 2016 which clearly specify that a target is set for a bulk producer according to their market share. This aims at channelizing their e-waste for responsible environmental friendly recycling.

Understanding EPR

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) signifies responsibility of a producer of electrical or electronic equipment towards channelization of e-waste to ensure environmental friendly management of such waste.

EPR may involve implementation of take back arrangement or establishment of collection centres or collaborating with authorised dismantler or recycler (as an organization or individually) through a PRO (Producer Responsibility Organisation) recognised by producer(s).

EPR Implementation Service
The Role of a PRO

A Producer Responsibility Organisation is an organisation that helps producers meet their EPR targets through various recyclers and dismantlers in the country. PRO is responsible for setting up a collection mechanism for the targeted material and create awareness for recycling of e-waste.

What We Do?

At Ewaste Recycle Hub, we offer a perfect solution for bulk producers of electric and electronic equipment to help them meet their EPR targets. We practice a transparent model of operation to ensure all targets are met within the specified timeframe.

We plan and implement special programs and strategies for creating awareness for masses. These include:

  • Use of social media
  • Print and digital marketing
  • Corporate events
  • Awareness and collection drives
  • Other initiatives

We undertake immense pride in announcing our presence in major cities across India through our collection centres, points, and channel partners for efficient collection and handling of e-waste.

Traders involved in informal recycling of e-waste (popularly referred to as ‘Kabadees’) must be made aware of immense benefits of proper recycling. We train them and make dedicated efforts to get them on board for sustainable recycling system. The training programs and workshops are conducted from time to time to make them aware of the irreparable hazards of toxic procedures.

As per a statistics report, around 70 per cent of the e-waste generated in India is illegally recycled near Delhi/NCR. We are specifically targeting these areas and the entire process is undertaken conforming to the guidelines and strong work ethics.

We are supported by a dedicated team of trained professionals and tele-callers available round the clock on our toll free number. We consistently strive at ensuring you the best solution for achieving targets.
